Support for being human.
People come to therapy for many reasons — crisis, confusion, exhaustion, or the sense that something needs to change. Whatever your reason, therapy can help slow down, gather insight, and move toward growth.
My name is Sarah Tesla (she/her). I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Canadian Certified Counsellor based in Gibsons, on the unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation.
I value this work because everyone experiences the messiness of being human, and it’s meaningful to support people as they find their way through.
How I approach therapy.
My approach is relational and collaborative. You set the focus and pace, and I help you make sense of what’s happening and find ways to move forward.
I provide both counselling and psychotherapy. Counselling often focuses on short-term support — working toward specific goals or strategies to help you navigate a challenge or life transition.
Psychotherapy tends to go deeper and usually takes place over a longer period, exploring how past experiences, patterns, and relationships shape the present.
