Support for being human.
When something feels ready to shift, therapy offers space to gather resources, understand patterns, and approach change with support.
My name is Sarah Tesla (she/her). I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) offering individual therapy for adults virtually or in person in Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast — the unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation.
I support people who want to understand themselves more fully — their patterns, their history, and the challenges they’re navigating today. My approach blends evidence-informed training with lived experience to create a grounded, supportive space for reflection and meaningful change.
Understanding yourself, with support.
Therapy is more than talking through what feels difficult — it’s an opportunity to get curious about why certain patterns keep showing up and what they’re trying to protect. Many people begin therapy when they feel ready to understand themselves in a deeper, more honest way.
We can work together through counselling — short-term, goal-focused support for specific challenges or transitions. Or psychotherapy, which goes deeper over time to explore how past experiences and patterns shape the present.
